We are all aware that there are industry standards when it comes to creating an affiliate campaign. However, given the peculiarity and rich culture of the people in MENA, there are a few tips that you should take into consideration when creating a campaign for the Arabic market.
And without further ado, let’s get right to it;
Arabs work collectively and to create a successful campaign, your focus should be based on community and family. This easy and simple rule will help to enhance the conversion rate of your campaign because the people in MENA want to know how your content or product will improve their community and the lives of their loves ones.
If you are creating a campaign for countries in MENA especially in the GCC region which includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Lebanon. It would do a lot of good if you promote the fact that the product you are selling would make their lives more luxurious than it already is. So, you must make it exclusive and expensive. However, this tactic will not work in every country in MENA especially Egypt where there a lot of lower middle class residents.
The Language Must Be Right
You need to incorporate Arabic and French in your campaign as it is the most widely spoken language in the region and, you must ensure that your content is mobile friendly because a lot of the residents in this region use mobile for interaction.
Use the Right Images
You must be certain that the image you are using can sell the image properly. Also avoid the use of sensitive images which might not go down well with the culture, religion and tradition in MENA.
You must tailor your campaign and content to what aligns with their society. For instance, you cannot run a campaign that will require women to post pictures online and expect it to be successful. Using quiz and personality tests might work in your favour. Furthermore, a lot of people do not have emails, hence, direct email campaigns might not give you the desired result.
